BASIC TRAINING Getting down to the basics. IDBT is a weekend where DeMolays and Advisors learn more about DeMolay and have tons of fun doing it. This event usually falls sometime in February, so be sure to have a few recruits from your chapter ready to ship out each year. But remember, you can only go once so be sure to get as much out of it as you can. Click here for more information. BROTHERHOOD DAY Paintball... Camping... Bowling... and who knows what else could happen! Brotherhood Day is an AWESOME time that everyone looks forward to every year. The schedule of events changes sometimes, so you never really are quite sure what you will get. This weekend usually takes place in May sometime, so be sure to check back for dates and keep your schedule clear. Click here for more information. CONCLAVE The BIGGEST and BEST that Illinois DeMolay has to offer. Usually held in July or August, Conclave is on event you DON'T WANT TO MISS! FALLFEST The annual ritual competition for Illinois DeMolay, Fallfest is also a great weekend for the entire family to get away! Fallfest is held each year on Thanksgiving weekend (Friday to Sunday). Other than ritual, there is also the state dodge ball tournament, movies, a dance, and a Thanksgiving-style dinner. Click here for more information. GRANDMASTER'S WEEKEND / BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT Think you got game?! Come and prove it! Grandmaster's weekend gives Illinois DeMolay an opportunity to pay homage to the Grandmaster of Masons in Illinois, as well as the Grand Lodge. It also gives the DeMolays of Illinois an opportunity to show off their game (or lack of in some cases). It also gives everyone a chance to show off their skills on the dance floor at the Masonic Youth Prom held on Saturday night. Held in March, basketball weekend will be all of the March madness you will need! Click here for more information. GREAT AMERICA Hold onto your pants everyone! Great America day is an action-packed day everyone can enjoy! Discounted by the Valley of Chicago Scottish Rite, the day is also affordable to everyone! And if a day full of roller coasters and water rides isn't enough, be sure to head to the dance afterwards. ILLINOIS DEMOLAY UNIVERSITY This fun-filled co-ed weekend is for just a few select people. Each chapter, bethel, assembly, and court are allowed to send two (2) people to the weekend. While at IDU, you will learn various skills that will help you now and forever. People are allowed to only go once, so be sure to live it up while you are there.
